Job Description

  • Lead and manage the external communication strategy, focusing on sustainability to enhance the company's reputation.
  • Build relationships with media and government contacts, while guiding junior team members in creating effective communication plans.
  • Oversee owned media channels (website, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and collaborate with the Sustainability team to amplify key messages and achieve communication goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, with 10+ years preferred; experience in a global company with regular HQ interaction is a plus.
  • Strong strategic communication planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate corporate strategy into compelling content.
  • Interpersonal skills, with a quick understanding of business contexts (insurance market, company strategy, and projects) and the ability to manage timelines effectively.
  • Fluent Japanese and Business English level
