An opportunity came up for a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Manager in the business service industry. This role involves managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and taking charge of the balance sheet in our Tokyo office.

Job Description

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
  • Support, review and ensure compliance in the finance functions.
  • Take full ownership and monthly control of the balance sheet, including accounts payable.
  • Contribute to financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Manage financial risk and ensure legal compliance.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English languages.
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Experience with preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
