Job Description

  • Conduct audits, draft reports, present findings, and propose practical solutions.
  • Complete audits within set timeframes and budgets.
  • Monitor emerging risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Support improvements in audit processes, including automation.
  • Follow internal audit standards and influence audit scope as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with management to understand business operations.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Ensure risks are assessed, compliance is maintained, and control issues are transparently managed to protect the firm's reputation and assets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA
  • In-depth knowledge of audit or risk & internal control principles
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry and deep understanding of the regulations and standards
