Job Description

  • Develop and execute internal audit plans tailored to cryptocurrency exchange operations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, crypto industry standards, and risk controls.
  • Conduct audits on digital asset transactions, operational processes, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with local regulators and global teams to align audit policies and governance.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory frameworks in Japan's crypto industry and ensure adherence.
  • Provide strategic insights on risk management and compliance for digital asset products.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in financial services or crypto.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, cryptocurrency exchanges, and digital assets.
  • Knowledge of Japan's financial regulations and crypto-related compliance frameworks.
  • Native or near-native level Japanese proficiency and business-level English.
  • Experience with internal audit methodologies, risk management, and reporting.
  • Relevant certifications such as CIA, CPA, or crypto compliance certifications preferred.
