Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications using the Spring Boot framework.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
  • Lead small to medium-sized development teams by assisting with task identification, technical decisions, and providing guidance.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Document software design, processes, and system configurations.



The Successful Applicant

  • At least 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-traffic web products.
  • Experience or knowledge of both frontend and backend development technologies.
  • Experience working in Agile teams, especially using Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency with deployment environments, including containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding small to medium-sized development teams.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL.
