Job Description

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage large-scale software development projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Planning & Monitoring: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and adjust resources as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Team Coordination: Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across all departments.
  • Budget & Risk Management: Oversee project budgets, manage financials, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Agile & SDLC Management: Implement and lead Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), ensuring efficient workflows and continuous improvement within the development process.
  • Process Improvement: Drive improvements in project management processes, identifying inefficiencies and introducing best practices to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • The successful candidate will be an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of managing large-scale software development projects (1M JPY+). They will have strong expertise in both SDLC and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • A natural leader, the successful candidate will excel in communication, both with stakeholders and within teams, fostering collaboration and driving project success. They will be highly skilled in using project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Gantt charts, and have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • In addition to technical and management skills, the ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, identifying and mitigating risks, driving continuous process improvements, and mentoring teams to achieve their highest potential.
