Job Description

  • Lead and manage the COO function for stress test operations.
  • Coordinate global stress testing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory objectives.
  • Support communication between management, front-office, and corporate teams to inform decision-making.
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective risk governance.
  • Oversee the development and validation of stress test models, methodologies, and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with capital adequacy regulations, managing audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Coordinate with international regulatory bodies and internal audit functions.
  • Proactively manage and deliver stress test projects within deadlines.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work with multiple teams.
  • Experience in project and task management, with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English to manage global communications and interactions.
  • Experience in data management and IT governance.
  • Knowledge of Basel regulations is highly preferred.
  • Interest in financial markets and systems, with a solid understanding of risk management.
  • Background in financial institutions or related fields is a plus.
