The Demand Planner will serve as the vital link in procurement and supply chain within the Life Science industry. This role requires a strategic thinker, who can manage and predict demand, ensuring that inventory levels are kept at most efficient levels.

Job Description

  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure supply meets demand in collaboration with other departments.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Utilize software to monitor trends and forecast future needs.
  • Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales and finance.
  • Drive process improvements within the demand planning function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Demand Planner' should have:

  • A degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in demand planning.
  • Familiarity with forecast models and inventory management.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office, relational databases, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong attention to detail.
