Job Description

  • Conduct day-to-day operational audits and contribute to audit delivery, including Corporate and Investment Banking audits in Japan and other locations.
  • Lead audit assignments based on experience and ensure effective risk assessment and dynamic planning.
  • Plan and execute audits by reviewing processes, identifying risks, and testing key controls for effectiveness.
  • Complete assigned tasks, including ad hoc projects and investigations, within agreed timelines and standards.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues, business units, and support areas.
  • Collaborate with other teams for an integrated audit approach and present findings clearly and professionally.
  • Draft audit findings, track issues, and support their resolution while engaging with regulators during inspections.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices while actively managing personal development and career growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Internal Audit VP should have:

  • Strong internal audit or external audit experience within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English.
  • CIA, CPA, or other Audit, Risk or Finance related qualifications preferred
