An IT Indirect Procurement Manager is required to manage a small team and execute strategic purchasing initiatives within the Life Science industry. The role is based in Tokyo.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement IT procurement strategies
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Manage a small team of 2-3 staff
  • Continuously improve procurement processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor market trends and analyze their impact on procurement strategies
  • Manage supplier relationships and evaluate their performance

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Indirect Procurement Manager should have:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience in procurement within the IT department
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese
  • Excellent team management abilities
  • Understanding of the Life Science industry
  • Proven track record in strategic purchasing initiatives
