Job Description

  • Design and optimize strategies across underwriting, authorization, and line control.
  • Analyze data to identify credit risk trends, root causes, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to deliver risk strategies and improvements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Use new and existing data sources to enhance modeling and decision performance.
  • Monitor KPIs, track results, and support the implementation of strategic changes.
  • Ensure alignment with market practices, customer expectations, and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, Python-or willingness to learn.
  • Experience in risk, strategy, or data analytics preferred.
  • Effective communicator in both Japanese and English.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functions.
