Our client is a large organisation in the apparel fashion industry. Based in Tokyo, they have a robust presence in the market with a dedicated team committed to delivering quality products.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement monthly, quarterly, semiannual full financial statements
  • Manage cash flow to ensure financial stability
  • Prepare tax returns in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Coordinate internal and external audits
  • Lead the Accounting team, fostering a productive working environment
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy
  • Strategize and implement cost-saving measures

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Reporting & Accounting Manager should have:

  • A strong understanding of English and Japanese
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and accounting
  • Proficiency in implementing and reporting financial statements
  • Experience in cash flow management and tax returns
  • Experience handling internal and external audits
  • Leadership experience, particularly in managing an Accounting team
  • Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
