Job Description

  • Responsible for the execution of compliance operations, planning and proposal at Laser Digital Japan, and collaboration with the Laser Digital Group Compliance Team (the following is an example of operations)
  • Establishment of a compliance management system at Laser Digital Japan
  • Establishing an AML/CFT management system at Laser Digital Japan
  • Handling compliance management on a global base and collaboration between group entities in the global operational structure of the Laser Digital Group
  • Monitoring operations in the Laser Digital Group: Monitoring of Market Abuse / Transaction monitoring
  • Regulatory and authority response
  • Corporate operations support
  • (Maintaining and updating of internal regulations, risk management, audit and inspection response, various operational management, support for corporate matters)

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Compliance Manager' should have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in compliance and AML/CFT operations at a bank, securities company, or cryptocurrency exchange
  • Familiarity with internal and external reporting requirements (preferably with regulatory reporting to JFSA)
  • Experience trade surveillance (market conduct) in TradFi (ideally in Crypto)
  • Broad range of understanding of general Compliance processes and controls
  • English communication skills
  • Self-sufficiency in compliance run tasks and able to understand and implement JFSA requirements
