Job Description



  • Strategic Leadership
    • Lead the development and execution of the company's strategic business plan for the Japan region, ensuring alignment with the global corporate strategy.
    • Drive innovation, market penetration, and new business development, particularly in automotive and industrial sectors.
    • Identify emerging market trends and opportunities, providing recommendations to executive leadership to maintain competitive advantage.


  • Financial Management & Performance
    • Own the P&L, ensuring revenue growth, cost control, and overall profitability.
    • Establish and monitor key financial and operational performance metrics, ensuring that targets are met.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring continuous improvement in business processes.


  • Operations Management
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Japanese office, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high-quality standards across all functions (sales, production, supply chain, etc.).
    • Ensure that all products and services meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead efforts to optimize operational efficiency, scalability, and sustainability across Japan-based operations.


  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing senior leadership team across various functional areas.
    • Develop and nurture talent within the organization, providing opportunities for employee growth and professional development.
    • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability throughout the organization.


  • Customer and Stakeholder Relations
    • Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, suppliers, and business partners.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, representing the company in industry forums, business negotiations, and public events.
    • Actively engage with customers to identify and understand their evolving needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally within the automotive, industrial, or related sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing P&L, driving operational efficiency, and delivering financial results in a large organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams, manage complex projects, and navigate cross-cultural environments.
  • Deep understanding of the Japanese market, business practices, and regulatory landscape
