Job Description

  • Drive sales and revenue by managing Tier 2 & 3 national accounts (import/export)
  • Lead, coach, and support the national sales team to meet business targets
  • Rebuild pipelines and re-engage inactive or lost clients
  • Conduct business reviews, customer visits, and performance evaluations with key accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to expand trade lanes and optimize pricing strategies
  • Ensure alignment of RFQs and RFIs with business goals
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Partner with operations to ensure seamless customer integration and service delivery
  • Report regularly to regional leadership and support execution of national sales plans



The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in key account management or business development in logistics
  • Deep understanding of the ocean freight and LCL markets (NVOCC background preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing mid-sized sales teams
  • Fluent in Japanese, with business-level English required
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and build strong client relationships
