Job Description

  • Create and carry out strategies to grow the businesses.
  • Develop marketing and sales programs for distributors and OEM customers.
  • Stay in regular contact with global product and business teams.
  • Build annual marketing plans to drive sales growth.
  • Make sure sales targets are met by guiding, training, and motivating the sales team.
  • Visit key customers and distributors, and support team members in building strong relationships.
  • Ensure products and services meet customer expectations and handle issues quickly and effectively.
  • Identify new opportunities to increase revenue and profit.
  • Monitor competitors and develop strategies to stay ahead. Share regular updates on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Keep managers and sales teams informed of any changes that could impact product distribution.
  • Help plan strategies across teams to deliver the right products and services, and support other divisions and groups.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (MBA is a plus)
  • Previous of experience in sales, marketing, or product management, with strong knowledge of products, competitors, and markets for Industrial Equipment, Process Automation, Automotive
  • Strong communication, presentation, and people skills in both Japanese and English
  • Practical, hands-on approach to work
  • Good understanding of OEMs and distribution channels
  • Proven track record of exceeding goals and delivering results
