Job Description

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Manage month-end close processes.
  • Complete and review account reconciliations.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement policies and systems.
  • Enhance accounting and reporting processes with technology.
  • Handle internal financial reporting tasks.
  • Supervise and coach the Accounting Team.
  • Become an expert on finance systems and workflows.
  • Maintain finance policy and procedure documentation.
  • Advise on finance governance and compliance.
  • Proactively address business needs and issues.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Controlling Manager should have:

  • High proficiency in Japanese and business English
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial laws and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
