Job Description

  • Lead the business planning process for renewable energy development projects, particularly in the battery storage space
  • Manage relationships with developers, EPCs, and local stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Handle procurement, construction oversight, budgeting, and contract management
  • Secure necessary permits and local agreements
  • Engage in financial arrangements including bank negotiations
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand renewable energy initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior BD Manager should have:

  • Experience in renewable energy business development
  • Background in battery project development is preferred
  • Business-level English and Japanese required
  • Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in EPC, real estate development, or project management a plus
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive projects from concept to close
